Welcome to my page—my space to share the journey that has brought me here as a provider, guide, and steward of the Bwiti tradition. If you've found yourself here, searching for healing, clarity, or transformation, know that this path is one I've walked myself.
I am Mboma, a dedicated Iboga provider, trained and approved under the guidance of Moughenda Mikala, one of the foremost Nimas (shamans) in the Bwiti tradition. My introduction to Iboga and Moughenda came nearly 15 years ago, a meeting that changed the course of my life. This was not just an intellectual journey but a deeply personal calling—one that required me to step fully into the medicine, the tradition, and the work of guiding others through their own healing.
Prior to Iboga, I had already spent years studying and practicing other healing modalities across different traditions. However, it was through Iboga and the Bwiti tradition that I found the most far-reaching and complete path—not only for myself but for the people I serve.
My training was hands-on and extensive, spanning several years of deep immersion in the Bwiti tradition. I interned directly with Moughenda for over a year, working side by side in ceremony, detox, and deep spiritual healing.
The passing of my 21-year-old son and initiate brought me face to face with grief in its most profound form. This experience deepened my commitment to working with those navigating complex grief, loss, and trauma—especially veterans, first responders, and Indigenous communities.
Healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. Whether it's breaking free from addiction, healing trauma, or reconnecting with one's purpose, I am here to support those who are truly ready for transformation.
What sets my work apart is my unwavering commitment to authenticity. I don't believe in shortcuts or watered-down versions of this medicine. My role is to hold a sacred space for truth, guide people through the depths of their healing, and ensure that they integrate what they learn into real, lasting change.
I honor the traditional ways of Iboga while ensuring that modern safety, ethics, and best practices are upheld. I have deeply studied not only Iboga itself but also its effects on the brain, body, and nervous system—bridging the gap between tradition and science.
Additionally, my Indigenous Algonquin heritage plays a significant role in my work. I believe that Indigenous healing traditions hold the keys to restoring balance—not only to individuals but to communities as a whole.
My work is for those who feel the call—those ready to embark on the deepest, most honest journey of their life. I specialize in working with:
