This isn't just a certification; it is an inheritance.The Iboga Provider Training is an immersive, 8–10 week certified initiation in the heart of Gabon, the sacred birthplace of Iboga and the living pulse of the Bwiti Missoko Tradition.
The Training Experience
Under the direct mentorship of Moughenda Mikala, a 10th-generation Missoko Bwiti Shaman and his team with over three decades of global healing experience, you will bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern service. The curriculum is a rigorous, dual-pillar approach:
Theoretical Foundations (200 Hours): Mastery of safety protocols, ceremony architecture, ethical standards, and the art of integration.
Practical Immersion (200 Hours): Hands-on experience within live Iboga retreats and authentic Bwiti initiations at the source.

Since 2012, Moughenda has been the "teacher of teachers," training the founders and lead providers of the world’s most respected centers, including Iboga Wellness Center, AwakenYourSoul, Beond Clinic, and Root Healing. By training where the Iboga grows, you ensure your practice is legitimate, grounded, and deeply rooted in the true lineage.
Application Requirements
To maintain the sanctity and quality of this container, only five to 10 participants are selected for each cycle.
Prerequisite: You must have prior Iboga experience at Moughenda’s village or with one of our 50 certified providers.
Selection: Entry is competitive. We want to hear your story, tell us what calls you to this medicine and why you are ready for this path.
‍Financials: While scholarships are not available, we offer payment plans and specialized rates for members of the African-American diaspora and Indigenous communities.
