I worked side by side with Moughenda at Iboga House in Costa Rica from 2012-2013 after I became the first Iboga Provider graduate. I traveled to Gabon and visited his grandfather's village where we created many videos about the Bwiti experience. I became the director of Iboga House and ran the center when Moughenda was not there. I had 2 additional trips to Moughenda's village in Gabon.

I had my first experience with Iboga in 2016 at Iboga Wellness Center and went to Moughenda Village for the first time later that year for my initiation. I returned to Gabon to continue my training with Moughenda in 2019. I graduated my training later that year.

I was first introduced to the medicine in 2014 when I was seeking healing for addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD and anorexia/bulimia. I had tried everything before and nothing had helped me. I traveled to Costa Rica and was greeted with kindness, safety and patience. My experience with Moughenda was so profound and gentle. I got a lifetime of healing in one night. I decided to take my first step into the Bwiti Tradition and pre-initiate while I was there, one day to travel to Gabon and complete my full initiation and training. I wanted to offer to others what Moughenda, the Bwiti tradition and this beautiful medicine gave to me.  In 2020 I finally arrived in Africa. Every single need of security and safety was met as a single woman traveling abroad, from being welcomed at the airport to chaperones throughout my entire stay in Africa. At the village I was welcomed with open arms and open hearts. The training itself is fully immersive and comprehensive. Moughenda ensures we have a complete understanding of the teachings and how to safely serve the medicine before we are given the blessing to offer it to others. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. In my training and healing at Moughenda's village I gained knowledge, confidence and understanding of myself and how to life a good life through the teachings and the tradition. Going to Africa was the greatest gift I ever gave to myself and will be forever grateful to Moughenda, the Bwiti Tradition, the medicine, my Bwiti family and myself for listening to my soul.

My first experience with Moughenda was in a Journey in 2016, before I met him in the physical world at the village in 2017 for my Initiation. In that journey Moughenda was already teaching me about the reality of my being. He laughed at me and loved me in a way that I will never forget. It amazes me still that I have come such a long way from where I began with my treatment in 2015. Iboga and my teacher Moubengui saved my life. I still learn now from that first journey and all of the teachings that were shared with me from two years of training in Costa Rica.   Moughenda has been both a tough and loving teacher to me. For this I am eternally grateful. I have learned more from him than I can possibly summarize in this box. What I can say is that I continue to learn from all that I have experienced with my journeys both in the physical and spiritual worlds. i use this knowledge everyday to manage myself. I returned in 2021 to the village for my Provider Training. Immediately upon the first class Moughenda pushed me to confront and resolve attachments that were not serving me. He had me do several life reviews, difficult work as well. Because of this work I have the most beautiful relationship with my family that I have ever dreamed possible. We are healed. I am very grateful to be a participant of the Rights of Passage as well. I have become a fine adult due to this experience. I came to Iboga for treatment as I spent 30 years of my life bingeing alcohol, relationships and food. I was diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses. I led a very chaotic and self abusive life and I lived in a nightmare inside of my mind. I felt very lost and terrified when I came to do my first treatment. I did not know who I was. I did not even think I was real. My mind was in constant motion and I had been using alcohol to attempt to escape. I have been free from alcohol for almost eight years now. I have been free from marijuana and tobacco for several years as well. I wake up everyday grateful to longer create that suffering in myself. I live a peaceful simple life inside and outside because of my experiences with the medicine and the teaching of the Bwitit tradition. My most powerful experiences and teachings have been in the village with Moughenda. They have also been my most challenging. Without theses challenges faced, understood and integrated I would not be the person that I am today. My feet are on the ground and I am healthy, present and grateful to Iboga, Moughenda, the Bwiti, Creator.What I thought was impossible before the medicine in now real.

I have  originally encountered the quality of Moughenda's training at the Iboga Wellness Center in Costa Rica - as part of my initial healing. I was impressed by the quality of the work and went to Africa  for my initiation the next year. I was again impressed by directly watching Moughenda and Bwiti in action and decided to go for the provider's training in the first quarter of 2022. I gave it 110% and successfully graduated. I have also been completely healed and have been enjoying my life to the fullest.
